Ser Elias is one of the only Men of Minera to ever successfully transpose themselves beyond the bounds of the planes of Minera or her Children, though for millennia he was trapped in void, watching centuries of history unfold with naught but his thoughts for company. In the wake of Dragonblight he returned, maddened, perishing in the city of Canos once again. Months later, when Namneri's Chalice was reforged, he took shape again — now bound by flame and hatred for those who could not heed his warnings. Draksborne's military and the Psithars thus chained him, hoping that one day his sanity might return.
